Reviews and Ratings
The hotel is wonderfully located near the castle park, making it easy to explore the gardens, museums, and the older district for pottery workshops and samurai houses. The rooms, while typically Japanese in size, are clean and well-equipped, though a bit small for comfort. The service, with attentive staff who went out of their way to assist, was a real highlight. Dining options were a mix of Western and Japanese cuisine, offering pleasant meals. Overall, a great spot for those wanting to immerse in Kanazawa's cultural richness with some small room inconveniences.
The hotel's rooms were a little bit smaller than other ones we have stayed in, especially the Japanese style room for 4 people. Despite feeling a little dense, the rooms would be more desirable, especially if a family travels with luggage. The service was top-notch, with friendly and pleasant staff who knew who we were immediately, even among lots of Westerners in the hotel. They even notified me promptly when we left a camera behind. The location was superb, making all the sites we wanted to see easily walkable, near the castle, central garden, and within walking distance from the Kenrokuen garden. The dining experience was just ok, not many restaurants nearby, but a short taxi ride away. The combination of Western and Japanese food was very good, catering more to Japanese style lovers. The hotel's facilities were modern, offering convenience and comfort.
My stay at this hotel was a mixed experience. The room for 4 people was a bit small, and the double bed against the wall was inconvenient. On the bright side, the service was seriously helpful, and the location was perfect for visiting the castle and Kenroku-en garden.
My stay at the hotel was pleasant overall. The location was excellent, right next to the castle park, which made exploring the city very convenient. The rooms, although a bit small, were clean and cozy. The service was friendly and helpful, making me feel welcomed during my stay. The dining options leaned more towards traditional Japanese cuisine, which may not suit everyone's taste. The facilities were decent, although not particularly exceptional.
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel right in front of the castle. The location couldn't be better with easy access to the market and museum. The rooms were cozy, and having a Yukata in the room added a nice touch. However, they were a bit small like a postage stamp. Overall, a great place to stay for sightseeing.
